Paul is a RIBA Chartered Architect with over 20 years’ experience delivering commercial, retail, residential, hospitality, and high-risk building projects. Having qualified as an architect at Leeds Beckett University, he progressed from Architectural Technician to Associate Director, leading multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction. Paul has a strong interest in Building Regulations and Building Safety, undertaking the Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) role in architectural practice before joining Qualitas Compliance to carry out this role full-time.

As Building Regulations Principal Designer, Paul provides specialist advice on compliance with the Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act across a diverse range of projects. He guides clients and design teams through the regulatory process, advising on statutory duties, developing compliance strategies, coordinating Building Safety Regulator Gateway submissions, and working collaboratively with project stakeholders to embed compliance throughout the design and construction process, supporting the safe and successful delivery of projects.
